Online education has become one of the more popular methods to receive education as the demand to continue to advance in one’s career during the Covid 19 Pandemic pushed the boundaries of education.
Encouraging alternative forms of communication and accessibility, online learning has continued to exceed our expectations. Whether you are looking to advance in your career, develop new practical skills, or are unable to relocate or commute to a campus where there is a course of interest offered. Online learning creates a flexible and accessible environment to allow you to create, and factor coursework into your busy schedules.
With added benefits of accessibility to those with learning difficulties, online learning provides a safe, cost-effective, controlled environment that offers a wider range of courses and allows you to collaborate with a more diverse group of individuals. Having students study from home could also contribute to climate control!
You may have used a Virtual Reality game recently at home or, your local arcade. As Virtual Reality (VR) becomes readily available we are seeing it more and more in education. Through the creation of a simulated environment, VR can introduce a realistic and fully interactive experience for the viewer to connect further understanding. VR in higher education
The Metaverse has introduced a whole new realm of learning that proved to be beneficial during the Covid 19 Pandemic in 2020 and as early as 2016. The Queen Mary University of London was the first to offer lectures on the metaverse, allowing students to interact and engage with one another and the course material. Providing VR practical experience with real-time feedback, increasing the confidence and employability of our future Doctors, Nurses, Surgeons, Military workers, and many more!
In the coming years, we will have to prepare to be innovative, push boundaries, and think outside the box. Taking visits to other educational campuses, and collaborating with other like-minded individuals are a few ways we can continue to stay involved and contribute to the evolution of education.
